
Trevor Noah is officially parting ways with The Daily Show after seven years. The talk show host shared her thoughts on this new phase of his life on Instagram on December 8th.
It doesn't feel like seven years, Noah added in his final dialogue, so don't be depressed. Not at the desk, that is. Of course, I took a break by going home. It has nonetheless been a wild voyage.
Since I've only been here for a relatively short period of time, he said, "I would never pretend to comprehend America. We forget that true friendships begin with similarities and that conflicts are how we sharpen each other as people since we live in a society where we are constantly being exposed to things that divide us. Politics is merely an original way to address actual problems. Not a binary, that. Any issue can be resolved in more than two different ways. There are additional methods to be than merely two."

Following that, the 38-year-old thanked the Black women who had taken the time "to inform me, to educate me, and to argue with me."

"I've often been given credit for, you know, coming up with these big ideas... Who do you suppose instructs me? Who do you believe has molded, fed, and informed me? From the Black ladies in my life, including my mother, grandmother, and aunt," he said. "Talk to Black ladies if you really want to learn about America."

As OK! previously reported, Noah's decision to leave the series reportedly caught both his team and the producers off guard.
